Matt had a newer built home with a pass through radon system. His radon levels came back pretty elevated so he decided to have something done. He reached out to ALS Property Associates, Inc. to get an inspection and be advised on the issue.
Doug with ALS Property Associates, Inc. came to the house and advised the pass through radon system was not installed correctly during the building of the home. The pipe was in the middle of the house which has much tighter soil and wouldn't easily allow radon gas to escape through the radon system. Doug advised Matt to have a radon fan installed in the attic and have the basement re-piped closer to a foundation wall with a footing.
Bucky and Rob with ALS Property Associates, Inc. completed the radon pass-through activation. They did an amazing job and professionally covered and sealed the sump pit. The new design of the system with the fan lowered the radon levels improving the indoor air quality of the home.
