Amanda had recently tested her basement for radon and found her radon levels were above the recommended safe threshold. She wanted her radon levels lowered to a safe level and ALS Property Associates was able to help her achieve her goal.
After she found out her radon levels were high, she called ALS Property Associates. Doug Smith came out for a free onsite estimate. From there we worked together to design a system of her choice and location. Amanda didn't want an exterior fan and pipes on her home. An Interior package was chosen. ALS Property Associates installed a sub slab depressurization system in the basement and ran schedule 40 piping through her garage to her attic. The radon suction fan was installed in the attic and vented through the roof.
The system performance was outstanding as drain tile was located at the extraction point and the radon levels were lowered well below the safe threshold. Amanda is now radon safe and very pleased the looks of the system.
