Job Stories From Alto, MI
Radon Mitigation - Sump Depressurization Alto, MI

James S tested high for radon in his newly built home. After a quick internet search, he found ALS Property Associates, Inc. and thought they would be a good fit.

Following a quick phone conversation, James was able to set up a free inspection/proposal with Doug. James decided aesthetics were important to him and did not want an exterior fan and preferred the system be hidden inside the home. Following the recommendations from Doug, James decided to proceed with the ALS team to install his system.

The ALS team covered the sump pump pit with a radon cover and properly sealed with silicone caulk. The radon extraction point was strategically placed near the garage above the drain tile that tied off at the sealed-up sump pump pit. The Schedule 40 PVC piping was professionally run up to the garage and to the attic. The Legend LV Radon fan was installed in the attic above the roof and vented up through the roof outside. James is happy with the looks of the system and knows his family is safe with exceptionally low radon levels.
